Description

AL-E290C 3PHASE PERCENTAGE BIASED DIFFERENTIAL PROTECTION RELAY TRAINER // WITHOUT PC INTERFACE

Overview

The AL-E290A is a comprehensive modular training system designed for hands-on study of percentage biased differential protection relays (Merz-Price method). It enables students and professionals to understand, test, and analyze transformer differential protection under both in-zone and out-of-zone fault conditions in a safe, controlled laboratory environment.

Scope of Learning

  • Plot characteristics of percentage biased differential relay (Merz-Price method)
  • Perform pick-up test for differential relay
  • Study transformer protection for in-zone trip faults
  • Study transformer protection for out-of-zone / through faults (non-trip conditions)
